Sustainability

The waters around Scotland are our home and support our families. It is therefore in our interest to ensure that they will be able to continue to provide for future generations of Scottish fishermen and their families. This is why we solely rely on responsible fishing methods, such as hand-diving and creel fishing. We are also involved with local networks, projects and authorities, in designing, trialling, and implementing fish stock regulations and sustainable fishing techniques.

Provenance

We export shellfish we have caught ourselves using our own fleet of 3 boats, the Avocet, the Loris Ellie, and the Boy Harris. This is how we know exactly where each lobster, crab or razor clam came from.

For each shipment, we are able to tell you where and when it was caught, which boat was used, and even who the skipper was.
